It's wild to think that fans are having such a knee-jerk reaction to the first 10 games of the season. The defense has looked bad — including James' — and the offense has been spotty at times.

Things haven't looked good early, but LeBron James has earned the benefit of the doubt from us. This year could always be different, but we'll have to wait and see where the Lakers finish up this season.
