The most underrated storyline regarding Kevin Durant's decision to join the Golden State Warriors has to be the lifting of “The Based God's Curse” placed on him by Bay Area rapper Lil B, right?

No curse was more famous, and now Lil B, in an open letter to Durant featured on The Undefeated, discusses how everything has now changed.

If you don't know, this all started when Durant tweeted that Lil B was whack and that he couldn't listen to his music. Lil B then placed a curse on Durant that wouldn't allow him to win a championship; the only way to settle the dispute was with a game of one-on-one, according to the rapper.

The rest is history. Durant didn't win a title in OKC and now he's headed to the Bay Area, literally the home of Lil B. Something straight out of a movie.

Lil B still wants the one-on-one game to happen, and there's probably a better chance of it happening now than ever before. The best part of the letter is when Lil B described his game, which of course resembles Russell Westbrook's:

At this point, I like where I’m at right now with my game and how much better I’ve gotten. I’m a real defensive guy. My defense really speaks loudly, which rolls over on offense. I have a pretty decent midrange shot. I like getting to the rack. I like getting to the hoop. I’m kind of like Russell Westbrook, but I can’t dunk. Just as far as going to the hole. I’m not saying all aspects of Russell Westbrook’s game because I don’t have the same aspects. I’m coming to the court with a lot of confidence now. It’s definitely different. I definitely do think I’m ready to play KD. Winning, who knows? But I definitely know I am ready to play him.

This one-on-one showdown has to happen.
