It's a new stadium for the Golden State Warriors, and Kawhi Leonard has the Los Angeles Clippers on his chest. However, nothing really changed from June 2019 as he broke the hearts of many Warriors fans who flocked the season opener at Chase Center.
Thanks to Kawhi's heroics, the Los Angeles Clippers are currently undefeated after taking down two decent teams in the Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers. His leadership ruined the Dubs' season opener at their new home at Chase Center.
Golden State fans were understandably upset that Kawhi got in their way again. However, the Terminator doesn't care about the sentiments of Warriors fans.
He had this to say to Jovan Buha and the rest of the media who talked to him about the game.

The fans who came to watch the Warriors lose cannot argue against that logic. Kawhi cost them the end of their dynasty when the Toronto Raptors took the Warriors down in six games. It effectively sent Kevin Durant to the Brooklyn Nets and had the Dubs scrambling for whatever talent they can find in the free-agent market.
Moreover, it's important to note that Leonard ended the Warriors' stay at the Oracle Arena on a sour note and left them with a bitter taste to start their stay at the Chase Center. It would be hard to find a player Warriors fans hate more than him right now.
However, that's the reality they live in. Everyone from Steve Kerr and Draymond Green knows that this season will be a year of adjustment for them. And they will have to settle watching Kawhi contend for the title of Best in the West.
