LA Clippersâ star Kawhi Leonard usually keeps to himself, and with no social media, not a lot is known about his every day life. On Wednesday night, however, Fun Guy let everyone enjoy his lighter side when he joined Jimmy Kimmel Live. It was the first appearance on late night television, and if there was a prior appearance, there doesn't appear to be any footage of it.
Here are some of the things we learned about Leonard during his appearance on the late night show:
1. 1-2-3-4-5?
Leonard began by telling everyone the obvious in that he doesn't use social media at all. In fact, the last tweet sent from the account wasn't from him and he doesn't even know what or where his Twitter password is.

2. Taco⊠Any Other Day!
That was followed up by Jimmy Kimmel asking Leonard if he even eats tacos on Tuesdays.
âDefinitely eat tacos,â Kawhi Leonard said. âDefinitely. Maybe not on Tuesdays, but Mexican food is my favorite and Iâm from Southern California.â
Being a Southern California native, and more specifically Riverside, that's not too surprising, but definitely an interesting fact about arguably the most mysterious star in the NBA.

3. One Moment In Apple Time
Kawhi Leonard was then asked about the âApple Time' story. If you're not familiar with it, it's a story from around the 2019 NBA Finals, when Leonard was a member of the Raptors, that claimed he attended a San Antonio Spurs team dinner only to bring 12 of his own red apples and eat them with a knife and fork. Leonard laughed it off wondering where that even came from.
âWho came up with that story? No, that's not true at all. I do have an apple tree, but I didn't pick my apples and bring them to dinner.â
Kawhi Leonard denies the âApple Timeâ story where he supposedly showed up to a Spurs team dinner with 12 apples, ate them with a knife and fork, and didnât order anything else đ€Ł#Clippers pic.twitter.com/ytHKGe4K2W

4. Okay, Who Got Kawhi?
Kawhi Leonard says he and some of the teams he's been on did their own Secret Santas. They'd limit the gifts at $100 because some rookies didn't have money to spend like the rest of the team.
Could you imagine trying to figure out a gift for Kawhi Leonard? What do you get him? Oversized gloves? Maybe a password book?

Article Continues Below5. The Big Dis-hand-vantage
Kawhi Leonard has unusually large hands for a guy his size. The hands of the Clippers' star are probably most comparable to those of Boban Marjanovic. Except Boban is 7-foot-3 while Leonard is 6-foot-7.
We can all imagine the advantages of having big hands both on and off the court, but Jimmy Kimmel posed a different question: Are there any disadvantages Does having hands that big have any disadvantages?
âDefinitely. I donât notice until I see either my friends or someone else doing an activity and, you know, I canât do that, like putting my hands in my own pockets.â
âIs that why you left Toronto?â Kimmel asked.
âI couldn't find gloves to fit me.â Leonard joked back.

6. Monsters Inc. Featuring⊠The One Eyed Green Monster?
As a big Disney fan and someone who grew up on Toy Story and Lion King, I'm disappointed in Kawhi Leonard here
Clippers superfan and multi-Emmy-winning actor Billy Crystal also joined Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk some hoops while also quiz Leonard on some Crystal facts. Chief among them was a question about which one-eyed, green character Crystal played in the 2001 Pixar film Monsters Inc.
According to Leonard, it's the One-Eyed Green Monster.
Somehow I'm not shocked that Kawhi Leonard doesn't know who Mike from Monsters Inc is pic.twitter.com/d1mN5xOOy4
