The starters for the 2019 All-Star game have been announced, and now people are waiting to see who will be on the reserve list. For Los Angeles Clippers head coach Doc Rivers, Tobias Harris, his team's top forward, should receive high consideration as one of the players that will make the All-Star team.
Doc Rivers on Tobias Harris’ All-Star case – “You look at our record, he’s been our best player. The case is made by our wins and how he’s played” #Clippers

Los Angeles already has a representative in the All-Star game, as LeBron James has once again been selected as the captain of one of the competing teams in the main event of the festivities. But Rivers would like the Clippers to have an All-Star of their own.
Rivers makes a pretty valid argument for Harris, who is putting up 21.1 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 2.5 assists while shooting 50.4 percent from the field, including almost 44 percent from beyond the arc.
Harris is also one of the reasons why the Clippers are back in playoff contention. After struggling to win games during December, the Clippers have managed to bounce back and are now in the eighth spot in the Western Conference standings, a position once held by the Lakers, who, coincidentally, are out of the playoff picture at the moment.
But giving Harris a spot is going to be a touch choice, especially since guys like San Antonio Spurs' LaMarcus Aldridge, Minnesota Timberwolves' Karl Anthony-Towns, and even Utah Jazz center Rudy Gobert have all been playing great this season. Not to mention, New Orleans Pelicans' Anthony Davis will surely be taking one of the forward spots.
Judging by how many great forwards are in the West, it will be difficult for Harris to take a spot.
Rivers will just have to wait and see.
