LA Clippers head coach Doc Rivers has been very vocal about the selection of All-Stars this season. He recently suggested that forward Tobias Harris should receive a ton of consideration from coaches because he's been the team's ‘best player'. Now, he's calling for the voting of the All-Star reserves to be televised because he feels guard Lou Williams was probably robbed of a spot from last year's festivities.

It is expected for Doc Rivers to vouch for both Harris and Williams, as they are playing for the Clippers. While the duo has been playing great so far this season, it's unlikely to see them make the All-Star team, especially since the Western Conference is filled with a lot of All-Star caliber players.
The Clippers' coach is calling for transparency in the voting process. After all, the All-Star draft will be televised, so why not make the voting of the reserves public too?
While his request will most likely be rejected, Rivers is actually raising a good point. The All-Star selection has seen several minor controversies over the past couple of years, so it makes sense for the coach to make such a suggestion.
However, Williams, who is averaging 18.8 points, 2.9 rebounds and 5.0 assists per game this season, will be going up against Russell Westbrook (Oklahoma City Thunder), Damian Lillard (Portland Trail Blazers), Klay Thompson (Golden State Warriors), Buddy Hield (Sacramento Kings), and even rookie sensation Luka Doncic (Dallas Mavericks) in the selection for the Western Conference All-Star guards.
It's going to be tough for him to even get a significant amount of consideration from the coaches this year.
