Kawhi Leonard and the Los Angeles Clippers improved to 7-0 with a full roster following their 132-103 win over the Denver Nuggets on Friday.
Leonard added that the Clippers are still one of the best teams in the league when healthy and focused:
“I mean sky's the limit,” Leonard said, via ESPN. “We have very talented players, we got some youth, veterans, and when it's all put together, I feel like we can be one of the top teams. It's about just keep sustaining our health and trusting each other and just taking it one game at a time.”
The Clippers improved to 40-19 on the season after defeating the Nuggets. They are in third place in the Western Conference standings.
In his first season with the Clippers, Leonard is averaging 27.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 5.2 assists. The two-time Finals MVP is shooting 46.4 percent from the field, 36.5 percent from beyond the arc and 89.8 percent from the free-throw line.
