Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant has nothing but high praise for Los Angeles Clippers small forward Kawhi Leonard.
Durant says Leonard can “do everything” on the court and that the two-time Finals MVP has “the longest paragraph on the scouting report.”
#Nets’ Kevin Durant on #Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard- “Players don’t [sleep on him]. He’s got the longest paragraph on the scouting report. He can do everything. You can’t dribble around him cuz he’s gonna steal the ball. It’s still tough for me to pull out all my shit against Kawhi.” pic.twitter.com/ZvBInz2N9Z

Last season with the Toronto Raptors, Kawhi Leonard averaged 26.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 3.3 assists during the regular season. He guided the Raptors to the championship over the Golden State Warriors in six games and won his second Finals MVP.
Leonard already has an impressive basketball résumé. He's a three-time All-Star, two-time Defensive Player of the Year and has two titles. Leonard will now try and make history again this season by leading the Clippers to their first-ever championship.
Article Continues BelowWith six-time All-Star Paul George by his side, Leonard has a good chance at accomplishing that goal.
Kevin Durant and Leonard are two of the best players in the world, so naturally, they have a lot of respect for each other. Reports came out during free agency that Leonard was talking to Durant about teaming up on the Clippers. Durant wound up signing a four-year deal with the Nets to play with Kyrie Irving and DeAndre Jordan.
It's unfortunate Durant wasn't healthy during the 2019 Finals. Basketball fans would have gotten a treat by watching KD and Leonard go head to head.
We'll have to wait until next season to watch Durant and Leonard square off, as Durant is going to sit out the entire 2019-20 season.
