LOS ANGELES – The LA Clippers on Friday announced the results of injured star Paul George's MRI. The test on George's injured right elbow isn't good or bad news.
“He’s feeling better, making good progress, but he’s gonna need a little bit more time.”

Essentially, it's not good or bad news for Paul George.
I asked, and the term 'setback' was not accurate regarding PG's progress, but my understanding is he hasn't made as much progress as the Clippers have hoped. https://t.co/Wivl7uH2oJ

George will undergo a few more weeks of rest before being reevaluated to determine the next steps for his future.
During the Clippers' February 15th matchup against the Phoenix Suns, Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes dropped some nuggets regarding the future of Paul George, assuming his late February MRI went well.
“Paul George who has been sidelines for almost two months is set to have an MRI on his right elbow on February 24th,” Haynes said of Paul George. “If all is clean, sources told me they expect the star to go through approximately a two-week ramp up period. If there are no setbacks, George could return as early as the second week of March.”

Paul George initially suffered the injury during a December 6th matchup between the Clippers and Portland Trail Blazers. George was able to play through the night, but would miss the next five games across 13 days to rest the elbow. He then returned against the San Antonio Spurs on December 20th, but would only play in that matchup as well as the December 22nd game against the Sacramento Kings.
An MRI conducted on Christmas Eve revealed that George had suffered a torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right elbow. He has missed exactly two months to the day of his initial shutdown date as the team has opted for rest and reevaluations.
On February 5th, Paul George was seen taking left-handed jumpshots before Clippers practice. Additionally, the Clippers star has been trying to keep his conditioning up for a potential return at some point this season.

George's return would be a welcome sight for the LA Clippers, who come out of the NBA's All-Star break with a 30-31 record through 61 games. They sit 2.5 games back of the Minnesota Timberwolves for the seventh seed and are 1.5 games up on the Lakers, who currently sit in ninth.
George has appeared in only 26 games for the Clippers this season, averaging 24.7 points, 7.1 rebounds, 5.5 assists, and 2.0 steals per game on 42.1 percent shooting from the field.
