Los Angeles Clippers forward Marcus Morris is still adjusting to his new position in his new team. The 30-year-old forward, who was one of the most sought-after pieces during the Feb. 6 trade deadline, has now played two games in a Clipper uniform.
Shortly after their disappointing 103-110 defeat at the hands of the Philadelphia 76ers at the Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday, Morris opened up about moving back to the power forward position in LA after starting the season at small forward in New York.
Morris, of course, will not be able to slide back to the 3 position since the team's two superstars Kawhi Leonard and Paul George usually occupy that slot.
“It's a learning experience … just switching from the 3 to the 4, I have to continue to set screens, continue to cut, continue to help each other out,” he said, per Jovan Buha of The Athletic.
Marcus Morris finished with 13 points and five rebounds in 35 minutes on Tuesday. He also figured in a dust-up with Sixers superstar Joel Embiid in the dying minutes of the match.

Prior to relocating to Hollywood, Morris was having a career-year for the Knicks. Without a legitimate star in New York, Morris notched inflated numbers of 19.6 points on an impressive 44.2 percent shooting from the field and a blistering 43.9 percent from past the arc.
Morris, for sure, won't mind seeing those numbers drop as long as he gets a chance to play for the Larry O'Brien trophy come playoff time.
Coach Doc Rivers, meanwhile, said Morris understands that he will likely be a third or fouth option on offense. He also made it clear that he plans to pair Morris with JaMychal Green to form a formidable frontline that can stretch the defense.
