Los Angeles Clippers big man Montrezl Harrell took to Twitter to clear the air after he apologized to Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic following an incident in Game 3.
Harrell said he wanted to address the “outside nonsense” being put forth after the Clippers sixth man had a couple run-ins with Doncic during Friday's game. Trezz added the two players have nothing but respect for one another.

To recall, Montrezl Harrell appeared to hurl expletives at Luka Doncic after the Mavs star stared down at the Clippers big earlier in the said game.

However, Doncic took no issue with Harrell's comments, noting the playoffs are full of intensity. He also said he respected Harrell's decision to seek him out to apologize.

The two were on very different ends of the spectrum during Game 4, though.
Doncic set the NBA world alight with a 43-point triple-double and a game-winning buzzer beater to tie the series. Harrell, meanwhile, played just 17 minutes and scored just two points on two shot attempts.

Mavs big man Kristaps Porzingis was ejected from Game 1 after shoving Marcus Morris following an interaction between Doncic and the Clippers forward.
Then there was the aforementioned stare Doncic threw Harrell's way in Game 3.

Much of the intensity has stemmed from the physical defense the Clippers have played on Doncic.
Los Angeles has made a point of using the body to try and cut off straight-line drives, and Luka has sometimes paid the price. However, Doncic and Harrell understand this is the nature of playoff basketball, and it appears to be all love between the two.
