The Los Angeles Clippers are one of the teams expected to make a big splash in this summer's free agency. They have enough cap space to sign two top-tier players to max deals.
There's a lot of optimism within the organization that they can land a star this June, and given the fact that they already have a competitive team this season, their future looks really bright.
Several NBA analysts have already said that the Clippers will be the preferred destination for guys like Kevin Durant and Kawhi Leonard. This, despite the fact that the more prominent LA team, the Lakers, have enough cap room as well. But the media personnel aren't the only ones who believe that the Clippers are more attractive at the moment.
One anonymous NBA agent told The Athletic's Jovan Buha that players should highly consider going the less glamorous LA team because of one particular reason.

Aside from being a well-run franchise, the agent added that the Clippers already have a core of role players that will be willing to adjust once a superstar decides to join the team.
“They have a nice blend of young talent with guys who are role players and excelling and thriving in their roles,” the agent continued. “If you’re a star and you come in, they already have guys who know their roles. In other situations, you try to bring in role players and have to deal with role allocation and adjustments. I think any star would be a seamless fit with the Clippers.”
The Clippers made the playoffs without an All-Star on their roster. Meanwhile, the Lakers didn't make it despite having LeBron James, one of the best players in the league at the moment.
If a player looks thoroughly at both situations, it's obvious that the Clippers is definitely more enticing.
