LA Clippers guard Patrick Beverley is calling out Oklahoma City Thunder small forward Paul George.

After Beverley replied to a video on Twitter that showed he locked up George on Friday, George replied by saying “stop it.” George told reporters on Friday in the postgame locker room that the refs were awful.

Patrick Beverley, who is one of the fiercest competitors and defenders in the game, says he never knew Paul George was “the excuse type” and that he won the individual battle on Friday plain and simple.

George had a rough game on Friday. The All-Star swingman shot just 5-of-16 from the floor and finished with 15 points.

George, Thunder star point guard Russell Westbrook, and center Steven Adams all fouled out. The Thunder lost to the Clippers by a final score of 118-110.

As we all know, Beverley doesn't back down from anyone in the NBA. Just a few days ago, Beverley was pestering Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James in the post. This is who Beverley is and it's why he's loved by Clippers fans.

In 67 games this season, Beverley is averaging 7.4 points, 5.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists while shooting 40.3 percent from the field, 38.5 percent from beyond the arc and 77.7 percent from the free-throw line.
