After their win over the Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Clippers stars Paul George and Kawhi Leonard shared their strategy on how they tried to contain Luka Doncic.

Per Brad Townsend of the Dallas Morning News, George shared that the strategy was to keep multiple bodies on Doncic and to make sure that he doesn't get a good crack at the basket.

Leonard, on the other hand, shared that they were aware that Doncic has been performing well for the past few games. To be able to beat the Mavs, they had to slow down the Slovenian wonder boy.

Doncic finished with 22 points, eight rebounds, and six assists. While these are impressive numbers, Doncic shot 4-of-14 from the field and o-of-8 from deep. He got the majority of his points through the free-throw line where he was 14-of-16. He also turned the ball over seven times.

The 20-year-old entered the game with a bunch of triple-doubles and broken records under his belt. He has also made it to the MVP discussion because his statistics have trickled on over to wins for the Mavs.

Teams, too, have taken notice of Doncic's rise to superstardom. They are in awe with his talents, which means that they have to integrate him into their defensive strategies as well.

George and Leonard — two of the best defenders in the league — were successful in their strategy. Let's see how other teams parse and analyze how the Clippers defended him. More importantly, it would be interesting to see how Doncic will adapt to these rapid changes.
