Paul George is expected to return to the Los Angeles Clippers and suit up against the Utah Jazz on Wednesday. However, that's on one condition.
Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPN provided the latest update on George, noting that he should be able to play barring any discomfort or something off in his right elbow. The veteran forward has been ramping up his activity in the past few days after missing the last three months due to an elbow injury.

Paul George's potential return didn't come as a surprise since the Clippers have made it known that he could play real soon. He has been doing 5-0n-5 scrimmages without restrictions in the past two days, raising further hopes that he has already recovered from his injury.

Of course practice is way different from game action, especially with the physicality and pressure in games. Hopefully, though, PG13 will be able to shake off the rust quickly and give the Clippers a much-needed boost.
Head coach Ty Lue also acknowledged on Monday that George's return “would be huge” for them as they try to protect the eighth seed and get an easier route in the play-in. After all, they will just need one win in the play-in if they ended up in eighth, while those in the ninth or 10th seed have to win twice just to get a playoff spot.
“It would be huge and like I always say: hope is stronger than fear. To have the hope that he could come back would be great for our team especially the job our team has done all season long of just playing out of position, doing more than they would normally do on a night-to-night basis but this team has done it so right now we are dragging a little bit and to get a guy like PG back would definitely help us out,” Lue added, per Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints.
