Clippers big man Montrezl Harrell could be in for a hefty pa day. In fact, the former Louisville Cardinal could earn up to $20 million annually in free agency.

Via Jovan Buha of The Athletic:

After surveying league personnel, it appears as if Harrell’s starting point will be around $20 million — think something like four years, $80 million. And that could be on the low end. Harrell could easily sniff the $100-million range given the state of free-agent class this summer.

Harrell, who will be an unrestricted free agent next summer, has improved his production with each passing season. The 25-year-old has made 29 appearances with the Clippers in this campaign (two starts), racking up averages of 19.0 points on 57.4 percent shooting from the field, 7.5 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.2 blocks and just under one steal (0.8) in 29.3 minutes per outing.

According to a report from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Harrell could be available heading into trade season. He's making $6 million this year, and the Clippers could be inclined to keep him aboard. The question is: will they be able to pay him? The team values his pick-and-roll play with Lou Williams, as well as his strong presence in the paint, but will they keep him around?
