LA Clippers big man Montrezl Harrell was going to the rim late in the fourth quarter, one way or the other.

Unfortunately for Brooklyn Nets center Jarrett Allen, he just so happened to be in Harrell's path when he threw down a monster jam.

Montrezl Harrell would go to collect his 16th double-double of the season during the Clippers' win, finishing with 20 points and 10 rebounds after 34 minutes of action. He has now gone for at least 20 points in four consecutive games.

Teaming up with Lou Williams, who sank the game-winner as the clock expired, Harrell has been a force off the bench for LA this season.

On pace to cruise towards new career highs at 16.4 points and 6.7 rebounds per game, Harrell has put himself firmly in the conversation for the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year Award, although he won't have to look far for his primary competition, just across the locker room in Williams.

The 2018-19 season has been anything but typical for the Clippers. They traded their leading scorer, Tobias Harris, in the middle of the season, while their new leading scorer, Williams, hasn't started a single game all year. They utilize an all-hands-on-deck approach — with Harrell at the heart of that — entering the night fifth in the league in field-goal percentage at 61.5 percent overall.

Barring a collapse over the final few weeks, LA is heading to the postseason. Currently, they own the no.8 seed in the Western Conference and sit just 3.5 games behind Houston for the no.3 spot.
