Tobias Harris definitely isn't the best player to hit the open market this summer. When free agency officially opens on June 30, though, he seems poised to field as many calls as any free agent in the NBA.

According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, as many as nine teams, including the Philadelphia 76ers and Los Angeles Clippers, are expected to court him in free agency.

Harris is a priority for the 76ers — and expected to command a maximum-level contract. One team that should express interest in Harris should they miss out on Kawhi Leonard, according to league sources: The Clippers. Harris and the Clippers had a good relationship and Harris had an All-Star caliber season before the trade to the 76ers in February. Brooklyn, Dallas, Denver, Memphis, Minnesota, New Orleans, and Sacramento are expected to also express interest.

Harris was acquired by the Sixers from the Clippers last January in a multi-player deal headlined by promising rookie Landry Shamet and two future first-round picks. He averaged 18.2 points and 7.9 rebounds per game for Philadelphia during the regular season, but like in the playoffs, struggled to find his stroke from beyond the arc, which combined with his questionable fit next to so many ball-dominant players often contributed to disjointed offense despite the Sixers' overall success at full-strength.

The Clippers are only expected to show interest in a reunion with Harris if Kawhi Leonard opts to return to the Toronto Raptors rather than go home to Southern California. The 26-year-old was playing the basketball of his career with Los Angeles before being dealt to Philadelphia, averaging 21.8 points per game and shooting 43.4 percent from three-point range.

Unlike other teams, the Sixers possess Harris' Bird Rights, meaning they can offer him a five-year, $189.7 million contract. Every other suitor will be limited to extending him a four-year, $140 million deal.
