Russell Westbrook and Paul George may not be on the same team anymore, but that doesn't mean that they cannot still be friends off the court. Westbrook's interaction with his former teammate's parents prove just that.
Tomer Azarly of ClutchPoints caught the Houston Rockets guard chatting up with George's parents before his team's preseason match against the Los Angeles Clippers. And looking at the way he interacted with his former teammates' parents, it seems like the two have a good relationship.

This isn't the only interaction linking George and Westbrook. They actually had a friendly chat during the game.

Both Russell Westbrook and Paul George didn't play a single minute of basketball as the Rockets manhandled the Clippers in their preseason scuffle. James Harden put up 37 points in their 109-97 victory.
The two were supposed to be the pillars for the Thunder despite their first-round exit in the last playoffs. However, George wanted out of OKC, leaving Westbrook alone. Soon enough, The Brodie was shipped off to jumpstart the OKC rebuild.
This is a great moment for the two players as it only cemented the good relationship they have built when George joined the Oklahoma City Thunder via trade in 2017. The friendship they have built transcends the game of basketball and will likely keep them connected their entire lives.
