The Los Angeles Lakers have undergone many changes to their roster this offseason, and it's brought forth an entirely new vibe around the organization.
In light of this different feel, veteran guard Jordan Clarkson believes that the Lakers can snap their four-year playoff drought this upcoming season, according to Mark Medina of the Orange County Register.
So good that Clarkson said “the main goal is to make the postseason.”
“That’s definitely something we’re shooting for,” Clarkson said. “It’s tough in the West, but I think we have an opportunity and a chance to build and come together to make something special here.”
The Lakers have added major pieces to the puzzle that began with dealing away guard D'Angelo Russell to the Brooklyn Nets in exchange for former All-Star center Brook Lopez and the 27th overall pick, which was used on former Utah forward Kyle Kuzma, who won the 2017 Las Vegas NBA Summer League Final MVP award.

If Ball's play in the Las Vegas Summer League is any indication of what's to come, it could mean some fast paced and exciting basketball from the Lakers.
On top of that, the front office also signed free agent a proven veteran guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope to a one-year, $18 million deal.
Regardless of whether Los Angeles reaches the playoffs or not, there is now a buzz around the organization that hasn't been present for the last several years. If anything, next season could be a major building block toward creating something special.
