The Los Angeles Chargers are set to begin their first season in Los Angeles in a few weeks.

During a team meeting on Saturday afternoon, former Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant paid a visit to the team to welcome to their new home.

Bryant is one of the most decorated professional athletes that played in Los Angeles as he has achieved many personal and team accolades to back that stance. He was a five-time NBA champion, 18-time All-Star, 15-time All-NBA Team selection, and earned 12 All-Defensive Team nods.

He is also well respected beyond just the NBA by other athletes in other sports that was evident by the reaction he received upon walking up to speak in front of the team. The 38-year-old has been quite active since retiring from the NBA last year with his various business ventures. On his spare time, he has made a few appearances at sports-related events over the last year.

The Chargers are set to play the next three years at the StubHub Center located in Carson, CA and will join the Los Angeles Rams in the new Inglewood Stadium that will is on pace to ready prior to the start of the 2020 season.
