As the Summer League action continues, some less popular players have been making a lot of waves and starting to turn a lot of heads with their impressive games. One of them is Los Angeles Lakers rookie Kyle Kuzma, who has been playing solid basketball and improving as the tournament progresses.

The 27th overall pick in last month's draft spoke recently with Harrison Faigen of SB Nation, where he shared his motivation for playing well. He then revealed what he thinks of every time he steps on the court.

“I have a chip on my shoulder. I just have great confidence in myself. I feel like I'm the best player every time I step on the floor.”

At 6-foot-9 and 222 lbs., it's easy to think of him as a natural at the power forward position, however, he said that he considers himself a versatile player who can play and defend multiple positions.

“I wouldn't call myself a four. I would call myself a basketball player who can play multiple positions and can guard multiple positions too.”

Although it's still early days in his professional career, he has already been showing a lot of maturity in his game.. Should he be able to continue it once the regular season starts, he could be an important part of the Luke Walton‘s rotation, who can give them a lot of depth give his versatility on both ends of the floor.
