NBA players have been used to receiving a lot of hate messages and even hilarious comments on their social media accounts. However, they also show at times that they will not allow some to just slide past them without a witty comeback.

That was the case recently when Los Angeles Lakers forward Brandon Ingram was on the receiving end of a trolling from a fan based on the tweet made by Lakers Community about a good cause he'll take part in.

Upon seeing the tweet, the 20-year-old Duke product clapped back quickly by targeting the fans's lack of followers on the social media platform.

Now in the offseason, players have been more active on social media, and Ingram's latest activity proves that even more. It also sends a message to his haters that players like him don't take these kinds of messages lightly, and will fire back whenever they have the chance to.

His comeback game may be strong, but the Lakers fans are hoping his hard work this summer will translate to an even stronger campaign for him, especially with his team looking to give him a bigger role.
