The Los Angeles Lakers are expected to do everything in their power to acquire New Orleans Pelicans' Anthony Davis before the trade deadline. The All-Star forward requested a trade a few days ago due to the lack of his team's success.

One of the possible assets the franchise could include in a trade is sophomore guard Josh Hart, whom they recently put on the trading block together with the rest of the Lakers' once celebrated young core of Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, and Ivica Zubac.

Since then, fans have swarmed the Twitter accounts of Hart and the others, joking about potential trade scenarios involving them. Everytime anyone of them post something on the social media site, fans would quickly remind them that they're about to be with another team after the trade deadline.

Hart recognizes what's happening and had this to say.

Now it is unclear as to why Hart tweeted that out. Maybe he's just fed up with all the comments from fans reacting to his situation with the Lakers, especially since most of them seem to have forgotten what Hart and the others did for the franchise.

Prior to the purple and gold signing of LeBron James last summer, Hart and the rest of the young core were tasked to help the team's rebuild. Los Angeles wanted to see who can be part of the franchise's long-term future, and at that time, all of them were seen as the Lakers' cornerstones.

However, things have changed this season. With the Lakers wanting to contend for the championship this year, the team is looking for an immediate upgrade. If they can pull off the blockbuster trade for Davis, they will likely be one of the favorites to win the title.

And so, the Lakers are doing everything in their power to make the trade happen, even if it cost them all of their young, promising players.
