There's a chance that Los Angeles Lakers fans will welcome back The Brow and The Carushow against the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday. Head coach Frank Vogel revealed that his two previously injured players, Anthony Davis and Alex Caruso, will join the team during the pre-game warmups at Staples Center.

However, there's still no guarantee that they will suit up, per Dave McMenamin of ESPN.

The reigning NBA champions have been without their superstar big over the last two games, as Anthony Davis dealt with Achilles tendinosis. AD revealed that the pain is not as bad at the moment, but he does not want to risk playing around with a compromised Achilles heel. Before his injury, Davis was notching spectacular numbers of 22.3 points, 8.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, 1.4 steals and 1.9 blocks per game.

Things haven't been easy for the Purple and Gold without their seven-time All-Star, as they had to carve out wins in three consecutive grueling overtime games. While they obviously want Davis back as soon as possible, the Lakers medical staff are making sure he'll be a 100 percent healthy before putting him back on the floor.

The same goes for Alex Caruso, who also sat out the Lakers' last two games due to a sore right hand. Injuries have limited the reserve guard to just 19 games so far this season, where he is averaging 5.5 points, 2.4 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.0 steal in about 18 minutes per night.

His infectious energy off the bench is dearly missed by the Lakers' second unit. Caruso is currently 10th among Western Conference guards in the latest All-Star ballot returns with over 214,000 votes. While the fan-favorite likely won't make the final cut, this is a testament to his massive cult following.
