Could it be true? That LeBron James is indeed—GASP!—human?
Just minutes earlier, LeBron reposted on his Instagram Stories a quote on staying focused on the dream ahead. It talked about sacrificing personal life to achieve goals. It also mentioned that these days, challenges are a marathon and not a race. The King posted a 100 emoji, perhaps conveying he totally agrees with everything.
As odd as it sounds, LeBron is having arguably the most difficult stretch of his career. The Los Angeles Lakers had to go through the play-in tournament to enter the NBA Playoffs then lost in Game 1 of their first round matchup against the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. LeBron looked lethargic in the defeat, scoring only 18 points and committing five turnovers.

When he returned, LeBron admitted that he will never be at 100% ever again, in his first clear admission that Father Time has caught up with him.
Then there's the whole recent controversy of the four-time MVP attending a tequila event, breaching the NBA's COVID-19 protocols. Fortunately for him and the Lakers, he escaped sanctions, allowing him to suit up against the Suns. But of course, that didn't sit well with others, accusing the NBA of having double standards.
Clearly, it's not easy being one of the biggest athletes in the entire Milky Way and The King has a lot on his plate right now. It seems LeBron James is feeling the burden of being LeBron James.
