The Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James came to Twitter to congratulate the Los Angeles Rams on their Super Bowl victory. LeBron also expressed his want for the Lakers to be able to hold a parade, because of the fact that they were unable to do so because of the Covid pandemic.
It's a shame the Lakers never got to have a parade, given how much fun it would have been with all the die-hard Lakers supporters. However, there are some things in life that are more important than basketball, and missing the parade was one of them, according to Frank Vogel. Vogel had this to say, per Mike Trudell, a Lakers beat reporter,
“Frank Vogel congratulated the Rams on their title. When asked about how LAL never got a chance to celebrate their 2020 title w/fans + parade, said he’ll always feel a void, but:
“A lot of people missed out on a lot more things more important than that because of the pandemic.”

Vogel is absolutely accurate in everything he says. It's sad that the Lakers were never able to celebrate their championship, but a lot worse things happened at the pandemic's peak. Perhaps the Lakers will have a parade with the other Los Angeles Champions one day, and it will be something that fans and residents of Los Angeles will enjoy.
The Lakers don't look like they're going to get a parade this year, but you never know what LeBron James can accomplish.
