Bryant has made a seamless transition into retirement with multiple successful business ventures. He made his imprint in Hollywood by winning an Oscar for his poem ‘Dear Basketball'. Although his success on the big screen may have been a bit surprising, the prospect of him opening a training academy was almost predictable.

Although Bryant's status among the all-time greats is debatable to some, there is no question that he is considered the hardest-working individual in NBA history. There are countless stories of his fierce work ethic. Such legends include waking up trainers at dawn for full-fledged workouts before practice or going entire sessions using only his left hand because he had a cast on his shooting hand.

Even the undisputed G.O.A.T. Michael Jordan admitted in his book “Michael Jordan: The Life” that Bryant was the only one that deserved the comparison because he had ‘done the work' up to that point. It is safe to assume that the academy will be heavily focused around Bryant's mantra of hard work and self-determination.
