Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant says New Orleans Pelicans power forward Anthony Davis “is one of the best players in the world” and that the Lakers should trade the young players on the team for him this summer.

Magic Johnson and Rob Pelinka basically made the entire Lakers roster available at the February trade deadline except for LeBron James in the Davis trade talks. New Orleans didn't accept LA's offer and will try and move Davis again in the offseason.

Some believe the Lakers shouldn't give up Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma for Anthony Davis. Kobe Bryant isn't in that camp.

The Lakers need to do whatever it takes to acquire Davis.

LeBron will be 35-years-old next season and he's already got so many miles on his body. This season showed that James can't win in Los Angeles without another superstar on the roster.

The prevailing thought is that Davis wants to play with LeBron on the Lakers. However, there are also rumors going around that the Pelicans won't trade AD to the Purple and Gold under any circumstance. It remains to be seen what will happen this summer, but Kobe believes LA would be foolish to not give New Orleans whatever they want for Davis.
