Los Angeles Lakers small forward Kyle Kuzma says it's “lonely” being the only Laker at Team USA training camp in Las Vegas.

Lakers superstar power forward Anthony Davis withdrew before the training camp started.

Luckily for Kyle Kuzma, he's got his close friend Donovan Mitchell with him at Team USA training camp. The two are close pals off the court.

Team USA training camp is going to be good for Kuzma, who will likely be the third option on offense for the Lakers next season. This past year, Kuzma averaged 18.7 points, 5.5 rebounds and 2.5 assists while shooting 45.6 percent from the field, 30.3 percent from beyond the arc and 75.2 percent from the free-throw line.

Even if he doesn't make the 12-man roster which will compete at the World Cup in China, Kuzma's game is going to grow after attending this training camp. Anytime you can compete with other star players and learn from Gregg Popovich, you are going to become a more polished basketball player.

With Anthony Davis and LeBron James leading the charge, the Lakers are title contenders. Winning the Western Conference next season is going to be tough for Los Angeles, though.

The Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz and Golden State Warriors all have really good rosters as well.
