Kyle Kuzma of the Los Angeles Lakers has come up with a great idea on how to avoid seeing trade rumors that have been haunting him for the past week or so.

Per Bill Oram of The Athletic, Kuzma believes he should Bird Box or cover his eyes with a blindfold to avoid seeing trade rumors involving him.

With the Feb.7 trade deadline right around the corner, anything can happen. Kuzma was recently inserted into a trade package for New Orleans Pelicans star Anthony Davis, along with a chunk of his teammates.

The deal, however, has fallen out due to reportedly “outrageous” requests by the Pelicans.

But the fact that the Lakers organization included Kuzma in the deal means that they're willing to do anything to acquire an elite-caliber player that they can pair up with LeBron James.

Kuzma, who's on his second year in the league, has been tagged as the Lakers' second best player right behind James. He's averaging stellar numbers: 18.8 points per game and 5.8 rebounds. But more than the statistics, he seems to have fully adapted on how to coexist with James' pass-first mentality.

It is these facts that surprised Lakers fans. Many of them believed that among the Lakers' young guns, Kuzma would remain untouched.

But yet here we are. The Lakers are willing to place all their chips on the trade table to win.

They should keep their eyes peeled as a blockbuster trade including Kuzma might ensue.
