Los Angeles Lakers small forward Kyle Kuzma told local reporters on Wednesday that it's actually good for players to be mentioned in trade rumors.

New Orleans Pelicans superstar Anthony Davis has requested a trade and the Lakers are expected to heavily pursue a deal which brings AD to Los Angeles.

The Lakers will likely have to part ways with Kyle Kuzma to acquire Anthony Davis. Kuzma says the fact that other teams want him means he has a bright future in the NBA.

Kuzma, 23, is currently dealing with a hip injury. The second-year swingman didn't play on Tuesday against the Philadelphia 76ers.

In 47 games this season for the Lakers, Kyle Kuzma is averaging 19.1 points, 5.9 rebounds and 2.5 assists per game while shooting 46.6 percent from the field, 30.3 percent from beyond the arc and 76.2 percent from the free-throw line.

Kuzma likely doesn't want to leave Los Angeles, but he seems to be taking the trade rumors well.

James is trying to compete for championships and the Lakers' roster isn't ready to compete for one right now.
