Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant was known for his ability to make seemingly impossible shots under intense pressure, and when you heckle him, he only makes you pay.
Current Lakers forward Kyle Kuzma paid homage to Bryant on Tuesday, retweeting a post that showed Bryant nailing a couple of big three-pointers in Game 4 of the 2010 NBA Finals against the Boston Celtics in spite of heckling fans:
Tough. https://t.co/OeR91V6O5c

The Lakers actually lost that game, but they went on to win those finals in seven games, with Bryant earning Finals MVP honors.
Of course, the timing of Kuzma's retweet is what is going to raise a lot of eyebrows, as it comes after Lakers superstar LeBron James heavily criticized the team's young players after back-to-back losses to the New Orleans Pelicans and the Memphis Grizzlies.

James seemed to question the heart of the young guys and also added that distractions shouldn't be bothering them, essentially saying that they should find another team if they are still distracted by the Anthony Davis trade rumors earlier this month.
Is this Kuzma taking a subliminal shot at James?
It probably isn't, but it is a heck of a coincidence, seeing as how multiple clips surfaced online of LeBron's half-hearted defensive effort against the Grizzlies on Monday night, where he didn't close out on shooters and missed numerous rotations.
The Lakers currently own a record of 29-31 and sit in 11th place in the Western Conference standings. They have gone just 9-17 over their last 26 games and have gone 3-7 since James returned from his groin injury at the end of last month.
