Speaking to TMZ Sports, Odom singled out none other than his former coach, Phil Jackson, as a potential contender for the head coaching post that's currently available in LA:
“Phil Jackson, I know can coach LeBron with the triangle offense,” Odom said. “I think that would keep [LeBron] around a little longer. Preserve him a little longer.”
“I would love for Phil Jackson to be the coach of the Los Angeles Lakers.”
Now wouldn't all Lakers fans love to see that as well?
The downside here is that Phil Jackson hasn't coached since he retired in 2011. This was after 11 seasons at the helm for the purple and gold coaching the late great Kobe Bryant. Odom was part of that run as well, and he believes that a sensational comeback for Jackson isn't out of the question.

“If he was to come back and coach the Lakers, I think the Lakers would be the pick — the fan-favorite.”
