Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James sent out a virtual birthday greeting for his wife, Savannah James, from inside the Disney World campus. It certainly isn't ideal for LeBron to not be able to spend her birthday with his loving wife, but given the circumstances, they will need to do with some form of remote celebration.

LeBron took to Instagram to send an endearing birthday message for Savannah:

Earlier reports confirmed that players will be allowed to invite a certain number of family members inside the bubble between the first and second rounds of the playoffs, but unfortunately for the James family, Savannah's birthday came a few days early. We are assuming that this policy will still be in place in spite of the recent boycott issue, so LeBron James should be reunited with his wife and kids inside the campus soon.

It is also worth noting that throughout LeBron's highly-publicized decades-long career, he has not been involved in a single controversy with regards to his family life. He has remained faithful to Savannah — his high school sweetheart — through the years, which in reality is something fully expected from married men. Kudos to LeBron for setting a great example in this respect.

LeBron has been one of the most prominent personalities in the boycott discussions of late. It was earlier reported that he urged his co-players to withdraw from playing for the rest of the season in the wake of the Jacob Blake shooting on Sunday. James may have had a change of heart, following reports that the playoffs is set to resume Friday. Nonetheless, this does not mean that LeBron and the rest of the NBA are pulling back on their protests. It is quite the contrary actually.
