The Los Angeles Lakers were largely shown up all game in a Wednesday night loss against the Minnesota Timberwolves. Not even LeBron James was safe as he was on the receiving end of some Patrick Beverley tomfoolery.
LeBron James was vocal after a game filled with testy moments, but the Lakers star remained level-headed as he addressed the defeat and any internal “frustrations” stemming from the state of the team at present.
Via Ryan Ward:
“It's part of the game,” LeBron said of the trash talk from the T-Wolves side.
“I'm very comfortable being uncomfortable. … You can control what you can control. … It's easy to be comfortable when you are winning,” the Lakers star continued on his frustration level.
But beyond just the one game, LeBron James admitted that this season has been an entirely different level of adversity faced compared to seasons past.

Via Ohm Youngmisuk:
LeBron admits this season has tested his patience more than last few years. “Testing your patience and how you can keep the focus and not fall into the notion of a losing mentality … I would never put myself in a position where I feel like I’m losing even though (losses mount)”
The Lakers dealt with a slew of injuries last season, sidelining both LeBron James and Anthony Davis during large stretches. His first year in LA also saw some growing pains as he tried to mesh with the Lakers' group of young talent at the time. But this season, with championship expectations and minimal room for error, the noise has been loud and hard to ignore.
The season isn't over for LeBron James and Co. and the panic level isn't seeping through as much to the players at it seems to be spreading among the Lakers faithful. But King James' patience is sure to be tested as they head towards yet another play-in appearance.
