As he indicated, LeBron is doing everything to ensure that his body is in prime condition for the grueling campaign ahead. He's also already imbibed his killer mentality this early on, announcing his intention to “destroy” whatever gets in the way of his path towards championship No. 5.

LeBron, who will be turning 36 this December, is undeniably already nearing the twilight of his career. However, based on what he showed last season, it is clear that he still has what it takes to lead the Lakers to another title. The fact that he's been working so diligently and methodically on his health and fitness is definitely one of the reasons why he has been able to stay at the top of his game.
