Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James' company has landed another TV show deal on NBC.

As reported by Nellie Andreeva of Deadline, NBC has given “a script commitment plus penalty” to James and Maverick Carter's Springhill Entertainment, writer Jennifer Cecil  Elizabeth Banks and Max Handelman’s Brownstone Productions, and Warner Bros. Television where both SpringHill and Brownstone are housed.

The show will be entitled “Hoops,” tagged as a basketball-themed drama, will revolve around the story of Stevie Decker and her journey back to her alma mater to become the first female head coach of a men's college basketball team. She will try to accomplish this goal amid her problematic family life, and the sex scandal involving her mentor — who's a legendary basketball coach.

They also have an upcoming docu-series “Warriors of Liberty” set to premiere on Starz, “Million Dollar Mile” — a competition reality series on CBS, and limited scripted series “Madam C.J.
