LeBron James definitely ruffled some feathers via his comments about the play-in tournament earlier this season. The Los Angeles Lakers star was vocal about his feelings towards the newest league fixture, while adding some colorful words to emphasize his point.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver revealed that although the Lakers star aired his grievances in public back in May, they eventually got to talking about the play-in tournament in private. It seems the two titans of the league eventually saw things eye to eye.
Via TMZ Sports:

“We talked about it,” Silver claimed between him and Lakers' LeBron James. “I think at the end of the day, I understand. Especially if you went deep last year and you have that end, you have that many sort of games on your legs.”
“You're not looking forward to more games. But, I think he understands the context of the league.”
“At the end of the day, the Players Association speaks for the players, and they've approved this format for next season,” he added.
The Lakers were arguably the biggest loser with the NBA's compressed schedule this season, which led to the disconnect in opinions. But the realities of the situation outweighed everything else as the NBA simply wanted to find some sense of normalcy, which came at a cost.
