Much like the rest of us, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is also constantly looking for things to do to fight off the lethargy and lack of productivity that can be brought about by the current nationwide lock down.
In a recent interview with ESPN's Dave McMenamin, the three-time NBA champ admitted that he too has fallen victim to one of the more gripping Netflix shows of late — the infamous “Tiger King.”
Article Continues Below“Pretty much anything that has the word ‘king' in it, I pretty much watch,” the man whose Instagram handle is @kingjames said with a laugh. “‘Tiger King,' ‘Lion King,' all of the kings. Yeah, I do all of that, I watch them all.”
What makes the “Tiger King” series so appealing is how controversial and downright insane the story line is. As it turns out, even LeBron has been captivated by the series himself, claiming that he has also binge-watched the series.
Recently, former Lakers big man Shaquille O'Neal came out with his own statement regarding his relationship with the Tiger King himself, Joe Exotic. Shaq made a surprise cameo on one of the episodes, which made it look like he was friends with Exotic. O'Neal immediately cleared the air to deny any such claims.
The fact that one of the biggest names in NBA history is featured on the series is probably making the show even more appealing to players like LeBron.
