On Friday, we reported about the partially completed (and somewhat mysterious in nature) painting of Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James in downtown L.A. It appears that the artists have been working round the clock as the humongous mural — which is now confirmed as an advertisement for electronics company Beats by Dre — now appears to be 95 percent complete.
It was James himself who shared a photo of the massive painting on his Instagram account.

That's a very impressive piece of art, which is the most recent representation of LeBron's momentous arrival in Los Angeles. This monster of a painting is absolutely fit for a king.
Article Continues BelowLakers faithful have not been this excited about an upcoming season for the longest time. The last time supporters were this hyped was probably close to a decade ago when the great Kobe Bryant was still at his prime.
Even before the Laker legend retired two years ago, the team was already slowly moving towards the wrong direction. The last time the team made the Playoffs was in 2013, and even then, it resulted in an unceremonious first round exit for the squad.
It's amazing how one player can change the outlook of an entire franchise. Then again, this is LeBron James we are talking about here and he is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time.
Things are certainly looking up for the Lakers, as the entire fan base is left looking up to LeBron to carry the team yet again to the promised land.
