Former Los Angeles Lakers big man Pau Gasol recently took to social media to share a custom made display of Kobe Bryant wood art.

Take a look at the magnificent piece.

Pau Gasol and Kobe Bryant played in three Finals together with the Lakers and won two championships in 2009 and 2010. They were brothers off the court up until the moment Bryant tragically passed away in a helicopter crash in January.

Ever since Bryant passed away, Gasol has been spending a lot of time with Vanessa Bryant and Kobe's daughters. The former Lakers center has been given the nickname “Uncle Pau” by Vanessa.

It's been a tough year for Lakers Nation with the passing of Bryant, which made the 2020 championship that much more special. Led by superstars LeBron James and Anthony Davis, Los Angeles defeated the Miami Heat in six games at Walt Disney World, with James taking home his fourth Finals MVP Award.

Gasol's NBA future is uncertain at the moment. There have been rumors he's going to play in Barcelona with his brother Marc, but nothing has been confirmed by the future Hall of Famer.

He was on the Portland Trail Blazers roster for the 2019-20 season, but wasn't able to recover from his foot injury and didn't appear in a single game.
