Rajon Rondo suddenly finds himself becoming some sort of a fountain of knowledge for his younger Los Angeles Lakers teammates. According to Ryan Ward of ClutchPoints, Rondo has been left fascinated by the enthusiasm and initiative to learn more about the game that's being shown to him by the Lakers’ youngsters.
“They definitely do. I’ve been impressed from day one. Couple months back when I first got here, the young guys reached out right away and they’ve been seeking knowledge ever since.”
The Lakers feature a bunch of developing talents in the likes of Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Lonzo Ball, and rookies Sviatoslav Mykhailiuk, and Moritz Wagner. With the exception of perhaps Ingram and Kuzma, all of them haven’t completely gotten rid of their training wheels.
A teammate like Rondo, who’s one of the smartest and savviest players of this generation, definitely could help expedite the growth of many of the fledgling pros the Lakers have on their payroll.

Of course, Rondo isn’t the only basketball savant on the team with LeBron James joining the Lakers over the summer. With Rondo and James, the Lakers arguably have the brightest tandem in the league today.
Rajon Rondo signed a one-year deal worth $9 million with the Lakers back in July after a single-season stint with the New Orleans Pelicans.
