Rap legend and BIG3 founder Ice Cube jokes that Los Angeles Lakers icon Kobe Bryant “has a restraining order on me.”

Ice Cube says he's been trying to get Bryant to play in the BIG3, but Kobe says no every time the two stars cross paths.

Everyone wants to see Bryant play in the BIG3. A lot of former NBA All-Stars are playing in it. However, it doesn't appear the Lakers legend will budge. It looks like Bryant is enjoying coaching his daughters' AAU team instead.

Former Lakers small forward Lamar Odom is playing in the BIG3 this season. Some thought Odom could recruit Bryant since the two are very close friends. Kobe, though, is as stubborn as they come. Once he makes up his mind on something, it's hard to change the Black Mamba's stance.

Bryant, of course, is the best player in Lakers franchise history and universally recognized as the second-best shooting guard in NBA history behind Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan.

Kobe, who will be a first-ballot Hall of Famer one day, holds career averages of 25.0 points, 5.2 rebounds and 4.7 assists. Bryant was an 18-time All-Star, a two-time Finals MVP and won five NBA championships with the Lakers.

Los Angeles retired Kobe's No. 8 and No. 24 jersey.
