“Shaq and Kobe, Kobe and Shaq.” No matter the order, Los Angeles Lakers legends Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant combined to win three NBA titles en route to becoming one of the most fearsome duos in the history of the league.

While not always seeing eye to eye, O'Neal and Bryant made it work in the “City of Angels” for quite some time. The heralded tandem even often joked about their back-and-forth routine in recent years.

Unfortunately, Bryant was tragically killed in a helicopter crash earlier this 2020. With that said, O'Neal has continued to remember Kobe and recently admitted that he has even assembled a shrine dedicated to his former Lakers teammate in his home.

“I actually got a shrine in my house that I put up,” the former Lakers big man told Entertainment Tonight as he showed the shrine for Kobe, per Essentially Sports. “See the shrine I put up in my living room? So I definitely think about them every day and the world is doing a great job of keeping them alive.”

Shaquille O'Neal and Kobe Bryant may not be the best of friends, but they are brothers who have accomplished a lot together throughout their careers. And sure enough, Shaq continues to show his love for his late friend by reminding people of his legacy and what he has done on and off the court.

Originally selected by the Charlotte Hornets with the No. 13 overall pick in the first round of the 1996 NBA Draft out of Lower Merion High School, Bryant was promptly traded across the country to the Lakers and the rest is history.

Spending his entire NBA playing career as a member of the famed franchise, Bryant was notably a five-time NBA Champion, two-time NBA Finals MVP, 18-time All-Star, four-time All-Star Game MVP and the 2008-09 NBA MVP. Officially hanging up his sneakers back in 2016-17, Kobe not only became a staple of the Lakers organization but also left behind quite the legacy as one of the best basketball players to ever lace it up.

The late Bryant was just 41 years old at the time of his death back in January.
