With all of their offseason moves taken into consideration, the Lakers will be a formidable side in the coming season, and Daniels is on board with the championship mentality:
“I think we have an unbelievable group with this team this year,” Daniels told Lakers reporter Mike Trudell. “They built this team with one goal, to win a championship.”
Though it's still a bit early, ESPN is ranking the Lakers as the No. 6 team in their offseason power rankings.
As for Daniels, he appeared in 51 games for the Phoenix Suns last season. The 28-year-old guard posted averages of 6.2 points and 1.4 rebounds while shooting 41.1% from the field and 38.1% from 3-point land. Daniels is shooting 40% from 3 for his career.
