During the first quarter of the Los Angeles Lakers' matchup with the Dallas Mavericks, Kristaps Porzingis crossed Anthony Davis over and drilled a pull-up three-pointer. Davis got his revenge by posterizing Porzingis.

The dunk that Davis had was the result of an aggressive face-up drive out of the post. The physicality that he brought proved to be too much for Porzingis to be able to hold his ground, which neutralized any ability to stop the dunk from happening.

After a slow start to the game for the Lakers, it was important that Davis created momentum for his team through recording an electrifying play. It's difficult to think of many sequences that could have sent a message quite like how he did. That proved to inject some life into his team and they prevented the Mavs from managing to run away with the game.
