During one of the timeouts of the Los Angeles Lakers-San Antonio Spurs game, a fan hit a halfcourt to win $30,000. However, he wasn't able to win a high five from the players.

Article Continues BelowAs observed, the fan went straight to the Lakers bench, both hands in the air — wishing for at least a high five from the players. But the whole team was busy discussing amongst each other. A security staff even stretched out his hands to signal that the bench is off limits. The fan, however, did get high fives from the Laker girls and a check worth $30,000.
It's not every day that a fan hits a shot from deep to win a whole lot of cash. And usually, the players themselves congratulate the fan for a job well done. There's even one occasion when LeBron James tackled and hugged a fan after he nailed a prayer from midcourt.
But the Lakers were not in the mood to celebrate with the fan. After all, they're off to a relatively slow start this season. And not only that, they're facing the Spurs — one of the most consistent teams in the NBA. Perhaps it wasn't just a good day to win $30,000.
