The tragic death of NBA icon and Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant continues to resonate inside the Staples Center. Team owner Jeanie Buss was once again engulfed by that deep sorrow during the team's All-Access event on Monday.
Speaking in front of the fans and the media, the 58-year-old executive admitted that it's still hard to talk about the loss of Kobe, almost two months removed from the grizzly helicopter accident that claimed nine lives.
“We will continue to celebrate and honor him and Gigi and we will embrace the entire Bryant family and keep them close and they will be a part of us forever,” Jeanie Buss said.

The Lakers organization held a beautiful memorial for Kobe Bryant and his daughter Gianna last February 24. The incredible tribute featured several heartwarming speeches from NBA legends like Michael Jordan and Shaquille O'Neal, among others.
Los Angeles, meanwhile, is one of the front runners to win the Larry O'Brien trophy this 2019-20 season. The LeBron James-led Lakers will surely want to win it all this season in honor of the fallen Bryant.
