The Los Angeles Kings continued to honor the legacy of Los Angeles Lakers great Kobe Bryant on Sunday night, coming out with number 8 and 24 warm-up jerseys against the Edmonton Oilers at Staples Center.

Bryant, who called Staples Center his home for 20 seasons in the NBA, tragically perished with eight others in a tragic helicopter crash that shook the world last January.

Kobe Bryant is indeed one of the most influential sports figures of all time. His greatness and dedication to the game of basketball transcend all sports. The work ethic he showed with the Lakers and willingness to do whatever it takes to succeed have long been admired by both fans and athletes all over the world.

The Staples Center, meanwhile, is home to high-profile teams across all sports. Several players from the LA Kings donned Bryant's jersey shortly after his passing last January. The Los Angeles Clippers, who are bitter rivals of the Lakers, also opted to leave Bryant's jersey uncovered in the rafters.
